Specialty Classes

All specialty classes, with the exception of Barre Essentials, are available à la carte or as an add-on to combination classes. Discounts apply when added to a combo class. Each class is 45 minutes and meets once a week. Rates are $70.00 per month, or $60.00 per month when added to another class.

 

Barre Essentials Pricing for JLA Families:

Single class: $22.50

10-class package: $200 ($20 per class)

20-class package: $350 ($17.50 per class)

30-class package: $450 ($15 per class)

 

Barre Essentials Regular Rates:

Single class: $25

10-class package: $210 ($21 per class)

20-class package: $360 ($18 per class)

30-class package: $465 ($15.50 per class)

 

Hip Hop I, II, III & IV (Ages 6 and up)

Hip hop is evolved and diverse and has captured and transformed the dance world. Students will have fun learning and exploring choreography, including new and old styles and techniques. We welcome students to just come in, let loose and DANCE!

 

Hip Hop I (Ages 6-7)

Hip Hop III (Ages 11-13)

Hip Hop IV (Ages 14 and up)

 

Comfortable Clothing, Sneakers (any style and color)

Acro (ages 6-10)

Promotes self-confidence and self-discipline through the learning of flexibility, tumbling, and balancing skills on mats, without the use of equipment. Students progress at their own pace within a structured environment to refine and advance their tricks.

 

Leotard, bike shorts or any other form-fitting attire.

Musical Theatre (Ages 8-13)

A fun, upbeat jazz-based class filled with Broadway style dancing. A form of theatrical performance that incorporates song, acting and dance to tell a written story. This is a non-performance class.

 

Any Color Leotard, Dance Shorts or Pants, Leggings, Tan or Black Split-Sole Jazz Shoes or Femme Pedinis or Character Heel, Hair must be neat and off the neck (Ponytail or Bun)

Leaps and Turns (ages 11 and up)

The class typically will include a warmup and conditioning with a more intense focus on body alignment, centering, and extension that will improve overall balance and core strength, and ultimately technique. The remainder of the class is geared towards perfecting various leaps, jumps, and turns while correcting posture and technique. This is a non-performance class.

 

Any Color Leotard, Dance Shorts or Pants, Leggings, Tan or Black Split-Sole Jazz Shoes or Barefeet, Hair must be neat and off the neck (Ponytail or Bun)

Pointe (Upon Approval)

A more advanced form of Ballet, utilizing pointe shoes. Classes are offered for intermediate and advanced students upon approval. Students will be evaluated individually and if accepted, are required to take a minimum of 3 ballet classes per week.

 

Black Leotard & Pink Tights, Pointe Shoes, Neat Bun, Ballet Skirt (Optional)

Advanced Tap (Ages 11 & UP)

A more advanced form of Tap.

Barre Essentials (Ages 15 to adult)

Our Barre Fitness class blends elements of ballet, Pilates, and strength training to create a full-body workout that builds lean muscle, increases flexibility, and improves posture. Designed for teens and adults, this low-impact, high-intensity class uses small, controlled movements to tone and strengthen while focusing on core stability and balance. No dance experience is required—just a willingness to challenge yourself and have fun! Whether you're looking to enhance your fitness routine or develop a dancer’s grace and strength, this class is perfect for all skill levels.
